First the tares will be removed from the church, the great falling away..

Dear friends,

We read of the great falling away in 2Thess 2:3.."Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction."

What does this mean?.. This means that first will the tares be removed from the church before the GREAT harvest comes in.

Isiah 60:1-3
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.

If we realy want to walk with the Lord like Enoch did and belong to the Church of the Lord, we will receive GRACE/ ENERGIZING from the Lord to do this. Tares can change to wheat. With the Lord anything is possible.

Wheat & tares..

Dear Friends,

Wheat & tares...

Look how the wheat and tares look alike. 
BUT the tares have no consistancy and stands up straight with pride. Proud and useless. Maybe not even realising that its fruits are not eatible. That is why the tare is only fit to be burned.

Whereas the wheat is lushes with consistancy and full nourishing eatible fruits. But also humbly bents it self as it gives Glory to the one who will eat from its fruits. Therefore it will be gathered together in the sowers barn.
One has a golden glow of Glory the other a dark presence...

That is why those in the church can be compared to these.. one is from the Kingdom of light, the other belongs to the kingdom of darkness although they have mixed together for so long.

The time for separation has come..Let us therefor work out our salvation with fear and trembling ( Phill 2:12) for our God is a comsuming fire. Heb 12:29
The word of God is the standard by which we are judged..Isa 66:2
It is the Word that purifies us and separates old nature from new nature..

To love the Word and put it first is to Love the Lord and put Him first...
Dont be religious or follow religious culture as its demonicly inspired and has no union with the Lord and no power to save. Col 2:8-10 & Col 2::23

Isa 60:1
Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. 2"For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you..

Strange doctrine...

Dear friends,

There is a doctrine out there that says. Jesus and the cross are not the gospel the Kingdom is...hmmmmm...

Imagine this:.. I have a best friend. And I want to introduce him to you. Would I start with telling you about what he can do for you or would I tell you about his person, how we met and Why I love him so much?

When I do introduce the Lord I love to start at Adam to fully explain from the beginning..

The Lord himself pointed to the Father as the Gospel and not just to what the Father Could do for us. But we are not gold diggers. We seek the giver not the gift.

Jesus says.. to know the Father is eternal life. And to know the one He send. And Jesus came so that we have life and life more abundandly. In him we inherit the Kingdom. And all Earthly things for life are given to us. He did not say to know the kingdom is eternal life..the Word says God so loved the world He gave His son. And Not.. He so loved the world he gave us the inheritance of his son, the Kingdom.

Those who follow the Lord only for food, clothing and shelter...are not different than those who followed because of the bread they ate from the couple of fish and bread and after they were full wanted to make Him King.

We follow the Lord and have intimate fellowship with him because we LOVE HIM. We delight ourself in Him Not FROM Him. Because in HIM we live and move and have our being.

There is still much that can be said about this but.. but for now..

God is able to locate us...

Dear friends,

I believe someone needs to hear this.

Before falling asleep I was asking in my heart how the Lord will provide for me. As my live and times are changing..

Then I had a dream.. I saw myself in the future needing a certain provision like money and fuel. I was with a friend and he put a tube in the ground and out of it came pouring ready made fuel. We can tank up and fill barrels to sell to others...

This reminded me of the story of the widows who got provided for during the times of Elisha.

Meaning of the dream.. God hears the concerns of our heart. And He is reassuring me/us that He has no problem providing for me/us. Even when situations may look impossible. He can even cause a rock to travel with me in the dessert to provide me water...He is more than capable.

Ps 37:4, I delight myself in the Lord and He gives me the desires of my heart..

Good ground..

Dear friends,

It is important how we receive the word of the Lord. The word that disciplines, confronts, corrects, encourages, builds up, or comforts us. The spoken or the written word.

These words that energise our faith & help us change are spoken to us by servants of the Lord or the lord himself trough the spoken or written Word. Words that are Spirit and life. ( spoken by a servant not a hireling. A shepard not a wolf).

1Thess 5: 11-14...Therefore, encourage each other, and build each other up - just as you are doing. We ask you, brothers, to respect those who are working hard among you, those who are guiding you in the Lord and confronting you in order to help you change. Treat them with the highest regard and love because of the work they are doing.

If we receive these as only words, as human words, we don't receive the energising of there power, the work of the Holy Spirit and total conviction. This power that can cause us the change and grow. 1thess. 1:4-5 & 1Thess 2:13.

This change/clean up done in us is done to us by God unto God who has reconciled us in Christ to himself to present us before himself without defect or blame. 1Col 1:21-23.

Let us therefore receive the words of the Lord with a hungry and humble heart so that we can fully benefit from its work.

Are we still hungry for the Lord?

Dear friends,

Today I have this image of dirt cookies. People in Haiti eat this to still their hunger. It is a known fact that also in Africa people eat clay to still their hunger. If you have a pica wanting clay than you till something else. Some other craving your body has. Point is..clay is used as a substitute..

This reminded me of what we spiritually do. We still true spiritual hunger with a substitute. Something that does not nourish.

Our spiritual hunger is a blessing from the Lord, Because only if we are truly hungry enough for Him will we be satisfied by Him.
Matt. 5:6. Because we will not settle with a substitute.

This hunger in us He wants to satisfy with a meal He prepared for us. He wants to dine with us. And we with him. We cannot offer the Lord dirt cookies...no matter how rich or well polished we are in the natural. If we are not truly connected and satified by the Lord, we have a different spiritual state then we think we have. Rev. 3:14-21.

We have to examine our selfs.
* Do we truly desire the manifestation of the Lord as he promised in John 14?
* Do truly love His word enough not to compromise?
* Our we dying to self so He can live trough us?
*Are we willing to follow Him wherever He leads. To the dessert or valley of death?
* Do we, like Paul, count it all loss. In order to gain -intimacy with- the Lord... etc.

What are we fulling our hunger with or has been stilled so we no longer feel it?

My prayer for this nation that the lord will cause water to run through the desert of our heart. Isa. 41:18. So it becomes fertility ground again. With a true spiritual hunger only He can satisfy. So we truly receive the seed of His Word and produce eatible fruits and not dirts cookies...

Only if we truly hunger and thirst after the Lord will we eat at His table.

Use what you have, so it can Grow

Today I asked my oldest, who is 12 years old,  if she is already praying in Tongues. She said: yes, but not so confident as my husband and I or other adults."

I then told her to look at baby language. How many words do they know? Not many, but they can communicate with that to us. Their language will grow as they grow.

I then encouraged her to use whatever utterings she has. It will grow with confidence.

This catapulted my mind into a flow. This is how we are gifted and using our gifts. We have to use them, no matter how small or insecure we are about them. As we get more experience through using them, we will grow and so will our gift. I then remembered the story of the servant who buried his talent. He never took the time to develop it. Maybe he expected it to operate perfectly without him putting much effort into it.
The Lord of the gifts was not amused.  The one who mastered his talent multiplied it and was given more.

This means to me now, that as you grow in your gift, you then teach others to use theirs and you will start flowing in other gifts. The Lord trusting you with more gifts.

I desire to grow in the Lord. I am a busy mother and have a growing business too. For me to be able to share my thoughts with you, I feel that i am emptying myself and then I receive more. If I was to contain everything in me, it might be lost trough forgetfulness. But me sharing this with you is, I guess in a way, multiplying this gift. Because I hope you, my dear readers, feel encouraged.

Well, may God bless you in your walk with Him, reveal your gift and help you to develop them.

Just start by using what you have.

Rekindling the Fire - A Trip Down Memory Lane of Healings

Mark 16:17 -18
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Lately I have been feeling the desire again to pray for healing. To lay hands on people and command healing to their bodies. This seems so huge to me that it kind of holds me back. I also want to move in operating the gift of Word of Knowledge. This gift I notice more when I randomly pray for people. In my spirit I see like a landscape of happenings ( images) and these I speak forth.

This morning while doing the dishes(!) I  reminisced about times in the past when I have prayed healing for people, laid hands on them and they were healed. I just had faith for their healing. Even if I would never hear from them again.

A few incidents came to mind:

* Once I had a college who was regularly going to the doctor for the disease of Crown, a bowel infection. I believe she even had an operation scheduled... I had asked her if she believed the Lord Jesus could heal her. She might have even been a Muslim, I don't fully remember.  However I prayed for her, during a time that our canteen was quiet and commanded her body to be healed. A few weeks later I saw her again and asked her how her doctor appointment had been, and she said they could not find anything!!!

* My sister was on her way to the hospital for an required abortion because the doctors said that she had an out of womb pregnancy (I'm afraid I don't know the medical term). She happened to stop by my house on the way there. I then also prayed for her. When she came back to me, she said that everything was fine with the baby and they were not going to abort anymore.

* I had a college who walked limp. She had mentioned that one of her relatives had had a similar condition and that the foot had to be amputated or something like that. This is SO long ago.
I then called her apart and took the foot and prayed healing to it. I felt something pop. Like a vessel was blocked and reopened.  Her walking improved immediately and that was that.

* An aunt of mine was in hospital and had a surgery planned. I believe she had already had one, but their was still something going on and she could not eat or so..I also prayed for her and I believe the next day new tissue had grown and the surgery was no longer needed and she was discharged that week.

AMEN!! The healing power of Lord Jesus! These events are of many years ago now, some as old as 10 years up to a few years ago. However I kind of stopped laying hands on people.

After a turbulent time in my faith, during which I had "thrown away" precious things, I feel like now this gift has been rekindled in me to lay hands on the sick.

I am SO excited to see the sick get healed again and even greater things. All for the Glory of the Lord.

Keep me in your prayers as I try to operate in these gifts for the Glory of YAHWEH-RAPHA - The Lord who Heals.

Don't Be a Leech. Don't Let Greed Fuel Your Prayer.

Prov. 30:15
“The leech has two daughters, ‘Give! Give!’ they cry!"

 Other translation reads "greed has two sisters" .

Last night, after I had spoken to the Lord, this scripture came to my mind and suddenly I felt a flow of thoughts I had to write down. I will try to write the flow as accurate as I felt it. I believe it is a Word from the Lord.

Even after almost 14 years of being saved i still don't know how to pray properly. Or rather I know, I just don't do it, because I can get so overwhelmed with my desires, or situations that we face, so the majority of my prayers are in the line of "give, give".

It is really annoying to hear "give give", every time someone speaks to you. Like that is the only thing you are good for. Whenever they spent time with you, it is because they want something from you. But I now realise that The Lord finds this just as annoying if all we ask for is stuff to satisfy our flesh. When the Lord hears all prayers and thoughts, He wants to answer, but we constantly ask for stuff that is perishable, instead of values that we can take back home or ask for the nations.

Here it goes....


“The leech has two daughters.
    ‘Give! Give!’ they cry

This is how many of us pray. Small minded, like the Lord does not know what we need or desire.

The Lord's Prayer is filled with much more. Yes, we can pray for our daily bread, but The Lord already provides for us daily.

We chase after our desires, our materialistic desires, when we could and should be praying for so much more.

The Lord hears our prayers. Every word, every thought. We could be, should be asking for the nations. The Lord tells us to. Instead of chasing after our desires.

In the Psalms, which are David's devotional time recorded, do we read of his materialistic desires mentioned?  Like "God give me a new this or that"?

We see his plea for salvation from his enemies. This is also a part of the Lord's Prayer, to "deliver us from evil".

We see his expression for loving God's laws and regulations. This also applies the Lord's prayer. "Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven".

David was a blessed man. He lacked nothing, for the Lord blessed him.

If that were not enough, He would have blessed him more.
David spent time with God. He documented his prayers.

We don't even have time to write a letter to God.

Because David documented his devotional time, we now have his words, which are actually God's inspired words through him.
In a smaller way just like I am doing now.

David knew that it is the Lord's blessing that maketh rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. This blessing is a product/result of the Lord's presence.

The Lord's presence is sought and found when we spent time in prayer, in His Word or in worship. When we are mindful of Him all the time.

This will cause us to do what pleases Him. We will do His righteousness.

The Lord is a Holy God. His presence dwells with righteousness.

David knew how to seek God's kingdom and His righteousness (living upright in His sight).
As a result, David was blessed. Everything was added to him.

David was not busy seeking after his materialistic desires in just food, shelter and clothing.

After this I flowed in to how I see God's names in a lot of His promises. Even in the Lord's Prayer the Lord's names are revealed.

I then said to the Lord, "Father it is like I see your name in everything." Then I had the thought, "That is because My promises are steadfast".

I will share His names in a new blog, as the Lords leads.

For now, this was my prayer last night and is today, but I also pray this for you....

Father, please help me to bring Glory to You in everything I do.

Please help me to serve You and walk worthy of the calling.

The heart of David and Prosperity

^{Ephesians 1:15} For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, ¹⁶ I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.¹⁷ I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit^[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. ¹⁸ I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, ¹⁹ and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength ²⁰ he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, ²¹ far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. ²² And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,²³ which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

I have been thinking about David lately and how much God blessed him.  God even said to him that He would have given him more if he did not have enough. We know that David lacked nothing. 

I was thinking about this because I have thought about how wrong the mainstream prosperity teaching is and how much it feeds unholiness within us. Prosperity teaching proclaims that God wants us to live in huge houses, drive fancy cars and have a great abundance of wealth. It makes us want to chase after the things of this world and not focus on the Lord as our source.

And It is very true that the Lord has promised us wealth when it reads, "the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous". (Proverbs 13:22) But is this a given? Should we just lay back, and do nothing? 

I was one of those who wanted to believe the prosperity preachers. I wanted to believe their prophecy of wealth etc...But after years of waiting I have learned some things along the way. It is not so that I don't believe this promise anymore, because I very much do, "For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.  (2 Corinthians 1:20),  but I have come to understand that God needs to be able to trust us with this wealth. I believe He tests our heart to see if we will not just make an idol from this wealth, and not use it for what it is meant. 

This brings me back to David. Here are some happenings that show the state of Davids heart.

Of David the Lord said, that "he was a man after God's own heart". 1 Samuel 13:14.

The life of David showed a very intimate friend-relationship with God. In 2 Sam 7, we see how God replies to David, wishing to build Him a house and how David replied

When David wanted to build God's Altar he said: "No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them. (2 Sam 24:24).

David did not just want to receive from God, as many of us do. David wanted to give to God. (1st clue)

This tells me also that David was a man that loved God a lot. There are many statements in David's life that show his love for God. His last words in 2 Sam 22 show a debt in this friend- relationship he had with God.  He loved God more than anything else. (2nd clue) 

He always put God first, except for that one time that he followed after his flesh with Bathsheba. Even from that came the one who God gave his kingdom to. 

David trusted God because he knew God. He knew who he was with God, one who could do the impossible. He had a faith in God few had, as demonstrated in his battle with Goliath. 

David heard God's voice. He had the Spirit of Wisdom. David was a prophet; he had the Spirit of Revelation. This is seen clearly from David's last words. David had the knowledge of God described in Ephesians 1:18  The eyes of his understanding were enlightened.

David’s Last Words

1These are the last words of David:

“The inspired utterance of David son of Jesse,

the utterance of the man exalted by the Most High,

the man anointed by the God of Jacob,

the hero of Israel’s songs:

2“The Spirit of the Lord spoke through me;

his word was on my tongue.

3The God of Israel spoke,

the Rock of Israel said to me:

‘When one rules over people in righteousness,

when he rules in the fear of God,

4he is like the light of morning at sunrise

on a cloudless morning,

like the brightness after rain

that brings grass from the earth.’

5“If my house were not right with God,

surely he would not have made with me an everlasting covenant,

arranged and secured in every part;

surely he would not bring to fruition my salvation

and grant me my every desire.

6But evil men are all to be cast aside like thorns,

which are not gathered with the hand.

7Whoever touches thorns

uses a tool of iron or the shaft of a spear;

they are burned up where they lie.”

This means that throughout his life he followed God. He did what the Lord commanded Him. 

He obeyed God. ( 3rd clue) 

When we Give, Love and Obey God, we do what Jesus commanded us to do and the outcome of this is that God will "bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire"

But when we don't Give, Love and Obey God:  James 4:3, "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." Is this not the financial state of many believers these days?

1 Timothy 6:9,  "Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction."

But there is Hope! I believe the Lord will fulfil His promises to His Body for His purpose. He is looking for people with the heart of David.

2 Chronicles 16:9, "For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him."

The Lord has been and is testing people. He will strip them to nothing if that is what it takes. Just to test their heart. Will they still love Him, like Job or will they stop serving Him, and fervently chase after Mammon?

It is the Lord who promotes and humbles. (1 Samuel 2:7)  It is the Lord who grants fame and fortune.

I want to say something to all Christian Entrepreneurs and professionals out there. Search your heart. If you truly wish to prosper, which is also the Lord's desire for you, set your priorities straight. The Lord shall not have any other God before Him. If he has called you to something greater, don't settle for the crumbs by worshipping Mammon. Be a giver, Love God and be obedient. Spend time with Him, listen to Him. Follow as He leads. Be faithful.

I am not saying that I have achieved it all already. I too have gone through many testings, and maybe there is more to come. But as I go I pick up certain truths.

God is not in a hurry, we are. He will bring you to where He wants you to be, no matter how long it takes. Why should we be wasting time by resisting God? I have followed after my own heart and have had to learn hard lessons. When you burn your self you have to sit on the blisters. What ever we sow in the flesh we harvest in the flesh. In all of this road of learning, I have learned that what stated in 2 Corinthians 15:9  is true: "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." 

If God has given you faith, then He has called you for so much more that the state you are in right now.  Stick with it: (Philippians 1:6) "because being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." No matter what gifting or calling.

If there is a stripping process going on in your life, it is for the purpose that God can clothe you with His mantle. The outcome of this stripping should be that you will desire God more than any other thing. In this state you will care less about the wealth of this world. In that state i believe, God can trust you with His wealth meant for His purpose because He knows we will obey Him. In this I see the promise of Matthew 6:33 being fulfilled: "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

May the Lord enlighten the eyes of your understanding.

From Transformation to Transfiguration: Our Hope for the Future.

(I felt inspired to write while listening to my favourite teacher, pastor Peter Tan. I have listened to his teaching for years and I always feel spiritually well fed afterwards. He teaches indepth spiritual truth that creates such a hunger for more of God and holiness in me.  Feel free to look him up on www.petertan.net.)

From Transformation to Transfiguration.

When I heard these words I immediately thought of Jesus on the mount with Moses and Elijah. He was transfigured.
Matthew 17:1 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. ² There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. ³ Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

This is also the promise of the Bride of Christ; we will be transfigured when we receive our Glorified bodies at the rapture.
Phill 3:21 Who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

The Church will first have to be transformed on the inside. In our soul as our spirit man grows. We have to became without spot or wrinkle.

Efe 5:27 So that he might present the church to himself in splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish

We have to grow from glory to glory until we become one with Jesus completely, as He is without spot or wrinkle. In Him there is no sin and darkness. He invites us to this unity with him in His prayer to the FATHER. We have to grow to Christ who is the head, and walk with God in such a way as Elijah did before he was taken away. He embodied the Glory of God and his body did not die, but changed when taken up to Heaven.

Moses saw and walked in the Glory of God and his body did not age. He was still in his prime of strength when he went up the mountain and was taken by God.

The Glory of God was with the Israelites in such a way that during the forty years in the wilderness not even their clothes nor shoes broke.

The complete transformation within will lead to the transfiguration at the rapture. The Lord will come for a Holy Bride. Not a half backslidden, sleepy, dirty bride. But one without spot or wrinkle.

Who of us can say we are there already? Who is preparing themself?

I desire to. My flesh is slowly catching up to my spirit. In my spirit I want all these things but my flesh often chooses something else. I pray that my flesh may be more submitted to my spirit so that my transformation can be completed in due time. There is no formula for this to happen. We just have to follow the examples set by Jesus Himself. How he spent time with the FATHER in prayer, and also Enoch who walked with the Lord and was in His presence and Elijah who also walked closely with the Lord in prayer.

So prayer, spending time with the Lord,  is the key to the complete transformation that will lead to transfiguration. I believe prayer in Tongues has the greatest part in this process because it is the spirit man that has to grow to that stage. There are many testimonies of people who spent a lengthy time in prayer, in tongues, with the Lord, and then had some level of spiritual awakening and open visions. A more close walk with the Lord.

Let us join in more fervent prayer in Tongues, so the spirit can do His complete work in us.

Dream and interpretation: How our mouth produces an open sewer in the spirit world.

Matthew 15:18
But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them

I had a dream a few days ago that I felt so embarassed about when I woke up. I could not tell anyone about the dream because it was too filthy for words.

In my dream I saw myself vomiting excrement.

I prayed about it and asked the Lord to give me insight into the dream. If it was from Him, then He should show me the dream's meaning, and if it was not from Him then He should take it away from my mind.

The image of my dream stayed with me. I was very shocked by it.

Today as I was talking to a sister in the Lord, the image came back to me again and I understood what it meant.

I believe that it refers to when we gossip about and slander other people all the bad stuff we can say with our mouth, even when we think we are justified about doing it. Our mouth is like an open sewer. It produces filth. That is what defiles us. In the spirit it is an open stream of filth. The most disgusting kind.

I remember reading in a book written by Anna Rountree how she saw a stream of sewerage in the spirit world and how much demons loved it. She was shown by the Lord how that place was being created by the mouths of the people. Whenever they spoke bad language, gossiping, back biting or all that other bad stuff we speak with our mouths.

Now I know the meaning of a dream I was so embarassed about, I now have the boldness to share it with my readers. Please watch your mouth at all times. It can be hard at times but The Lord can help all of us.

We are called to such a special time as this. We, the endtime church,  have to become Holy, without spot or wrinkle. Without defilement. Guarding our mouth is a step in the right direction.

The Doorway of Hope Part 2 - the Lifting Up of Holy Hands

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD psalm 134:2

What is the lifting up of hands?

Lifting up of hands in the Bible always resulted in mighty miracles. Moses parting the water Exo 14:26. The battle were Moses had to lift up his hands from morning till sunset Exo 17:11

Body language says a lot. Although the mouth says nothing. Actions speak louder then words.. Everyone knows that, right? When we are open, our arms are open. When we are closed, our arms are folded.

Let me start by sternly saying that people who say they cannot lift up their hands to the Lord are in pride. Pride is evil in the eyes of the Lord. To lift up your hands is the simple action of throwing your hands in the air and holding them there for any length of time during worship, prayer or praise.
Imagine someone who falls into a pit. Its all dark around them. The only light they see is that above them. Will they not lift up their hands when someone stretches forth to pull them out? This is also our state in this world. We live in a dark world and the Lord is stretching forth His hands to lift us up. Will we not also lift up our hands to reach His? With this in mind, I can can also say that people who don't lift up their hands to the Lord, are basically saying that they don't need saving.

Why we should lift up our hands

Lifting up of hands also stands for surrendering. We surrender our life and heart to the Lord .
So when we pray with hands lifted up we surrender the situation to the Lord. Lifting up our hands also shows our longing for the Lord.
With the miracles of Exodus in mind, we can say there is a supernatural meaning behind lifting up our hands.
I once heard in a sermon that when we lift up our hand to the Lord it is also a sign to the angels working on our behalf to go forth for us. This is not a strange thought because we stretch out to the Lords salvation. It is also a sign of trusting in the Lord.

When I lift up my hands to the Lord, I believe my heart is saying to the Lord:

"I love you. I can do nothing without you. From you is my salvation. In you I trust. Help me! I long for you".

The Lord gives so many promises to those who trust in Him, wait on Him, cry out to Him. Because with our hands we lift up our heart. Something supernatural happens when we do this. 

The Apostle Paul is telling us in the letter to Timothy:
"I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing". 1 Tim 2:8
It comes to mind that when men do this they are pledging allegiance to the Lord with their heart. How many
people pledge allegiance to futile things like a flag. Why is it hard for them to do the same for the Lord? When we lift up our hand to the Lord we should be aware that our heart is praying a different prayer than our mouth is.  With our hands and heart lifted up to the Lord we can easily say, "THANK YOU LORD!!" - an even bigger sign of trusting the Lord.

Psalm 66:16-20
"Come and hear, all you who fear God;
let me tell you what he has done for me.
I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue.
If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;
but God has surely listened
and has heard my prayer.
Praise be to God,
who has not rejected my prayer
or withheld his love from me!"

This passage shows the heart of one who was in a deep pit of trouble, and he chose to trust the Lord. This person surrendered to the Lord. He must have lifted up his hands to demonstrate it to the Lord; maybe even cried many tears without saying a word. However God saw his HEART! If he could have spoken beautiful heartfelt words, but cherished unbelief in his heart, God would not have listened. So what better way to speak to the Lord than with our hands lifted up and our heart surrendered?!!

Psalm 66:10-12
"For you, God, tested us;
you refined us like silver.
You brought us into prison
and laid burdens on our backs.
You let people ride over our heads;
we went through fire and water,
but you brought us to a place of abundance".

Look at the trouble this person went through. One would think he would have every reason not to trust God and even to be angry with Him. But he did what pleased the Lord and so the Lord brought him out. Trusting in God is the place of abundace. The Word tells us "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" Mat 6:33
and also:

"'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." ( trusts in God) Mark 9:23 I believe these promises are linked to trusting God with our life, and that without trust we cannot receive anything from the Lord.  So what a difference the small action of lifting up our hands to the Lord, to demonstrate our trust and surrendering to Him, can make in our spiritual growth. If this small action was of no significance, Paul would not have mentioned it. Let me end by challenging all believers to examine their heart when they lift and don't lift up their hands to the Lord. What are you saying with your body language? This will affect your spiritual life. The Doorway of Hope is in front of us, opened. What will we do? Let us allow the Lord to prepare us for the amazing things He has in store for us, by simply lifting up our hands to Him in worship, praise and thanksgiving.

The Doorway of Hope

" There I will give her vineyards back to her and make the Valley of Achor into a gateway of hope. There she will respond as she did in the days of her youth, as in the day she came out of the land of Egypt " Hosea 2:15

This is such an amazing promise to all children of God.  However there is so much that can be said about this because I believe there is a red cord that ties all promises in the bible together. It is like before you can have one you have to do the other. Every promise is linked to another. I believe it takes many stages of growth  on our part before we will see these promises manifest. God promises to do something but it does not mean that we just lay back and see it happen. I always wondered about that. The Word says this, but my life shows that..and I ask why my life is not in line with the Word. I will try to explain how I now understand that all promises are linked and it takes action on our part.

We have to remember that we are Spirit first and then flesh. The invisible comes first and then the visible.
The state of mind comes first and then the action. The first battle ground and valley there is, is that of our mind. First we are defeated in our mind and then this defeat is seen in our life. We have to guard our heart and mind with the word otherwise we will be defeated in life.We don't have a physical valley of trouble but it is visible in our life's circumstances. Also the doorway of Hope has many layers.
First of all is that God gives it. He gives it by faith. In your heart and mind you know "It is done." When we have prayed for something we know in our heart that God has heard and answered our prayer.
The second layer for me is based on other promises in the Word "It is written." Because you know it is written you also know that God has already said "YES".  For example, you can pray for healing, but you can also say,  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed "Isa 53:4-5.

So it is written, so it is done.

This scripture will turn your valley of Achor in your healing into a doorway of hope, if that is what God intends for you.
If a situation you find yourself in is designed by God for your growth then it will be as He leads, but if a situation is caused by our enemy, it changes when we overcome with the word and the power of our testimony.

The doorway of hope is also found in the verse “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.”  Phill 4:6

Thanksgiving is the doorway of Hope. When we give thanks we demonstrate our faith in God; that it is done, according to His Word. We show our trust in Him. And He does say that without trust ( faith) it is impossible to please Him. And in fact we receive nothing ( in our heart first). The Lord Jesus performed many miracles, but in the places where the people did not believe He could not do any. Although they needed healing they did not receive it.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

So God gives the doorway of Hope, but we have to enter it. It takes action on our part othewise we will stay in the valley of Achor with the doorway in front of us. I have the image of a doorway that opens in this dimension and leads to another dimention but the door is made from glass. The password is: THANKSGIVING.

When we enter that door with thanksgiving we then start to adjust the eyes of our mind to the new sorroundings. Our mind gets renewed and this has effect on our physical life. We are seated with Christ in the Heavenlies in the spirit and in the physical we walk on earth.
" for as he thinks within himself, so he is"..Prov 23:7.

From our mind (thinking), to our heart ( believing)  to our mouth ( confessing), to our reality ( salvation)

"For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."Rom 10:10 

Many people pray for a lot of things God has already said "YES" to. In these last days we have to step up our game. We have to get familiar with God's "YES" in order to have "the power of our testimony." When we have experienced something once it is easier to experience it again. It becomes our natural state. The supernatural becomes Natural. We need this state of mind and heart to see the promises that God has made to manifest. There are still so many promises unrealised. The greatest manifest of power has yet to happen. How will we see if our hearts are blind?

The rest of the teaching I leave to the Holy Spirit in your heart. May He enlighten the eyes of your understanding.

A thought on anointing

Just a thought on anointing....

I don't think I have the complete revelation yet, but bit by bit it comes through...

I think God is using my everyday life and the things that I do to teach me about His Kingdom.

I love haircare and today the thought came to me that "anointing" is like carrier oils on hair. Carrier oils are nourishing and penetrate deep into the hair shaft.

In the same manner the anointing (spiritual oil) nourishes our spirit. It goes deep into our being.So let's say there is an anointing on a sermon, then the Holy Spirit nourishes us deep within our spirit, soul and body. That is why we feel refreshed and nourished after meetings, sermons, worship service and every time we glorify God.

Spoiled Child of God

Today is a day of blessing.

A lot of blessed thoughts passed through my mind this morning, and I had to write them down. They were certain scriptures that had been spoken to me on my birthday, and others that we had shared with each other during worship practice.
These scriptures have now landed as blessings in my heart. They are among other blessings the Lord is giving me today. Only I don't know what they are yet! Like gifts that need to be unpacked. But I thank FATHER for them already!

This morning as I lifted my hand up to Father while praying in tongues to worship and give thanks, I realised I had lifted up my left hand. The hand that receives. The thought came to me that I was lifting my hand up to receive from Him my daily portion. I was also thinking, "I am not giving Him anything"...and then I thought, "Well I am giving the fruit of my lips", as I was praying in tongues....
I was thinking, "Oh how spoiled am I?", and at that same time I was thinking, "Is that not what God wants from us?" That we daily stretch out to Him for our portion? Because He gives daily to each their portion.

In my heart I am thinking, "How cheeky of me!!!",  but to who else can I go? I felt such a joy in my heart, and at the same time I prayed forth in new tongues with new syllables to me.. and suddenly I felt this joy that made me want to cry tears of gratitude, and for intimacy with the FATHER.

What a blessed feeling it is to know God is so close. I felt touched and I felt it in my emotions.
FATHER THANK YOU FOR POURING YOUR BLESSING INTO ME TODAY...
I know that FATHER LONGS TO GIVE BLESSINGS TO ALL OF HIS CHILDREN, if we but only ask and lift up our hands to receive them.....

The End of our Time through the eyes of Enoch

XCIII. XCI. 12-17. The Apocalypse of Weeks.

p. 132

CHAPTER XCIII.

1. And after that Enoch both †gave† and began to recount from the books. And Enoch said:
'Concerning the children of righteousness and concerning the elect of the world,
And concerning the plant of uprightness, I will speak these things,
Yea, I Enoch will declare (them) unto you, my sons:
According to that which appeared to me in the heavenly vision,
And which I have known through the word of the holy angels,
And have learnt from the heavenly tablets.'

3. And Enoch began to recount from the books and said:
'I was born the seventh in the first week,
While judgement and righteousness still endured.
( the book of Genesis before the flood,  )

4. And after me there shall arise in the second week great wickedness,
And deceit shall have sprung up;
And in it there shall be the first end.
And in it a man shall be saved;
And after it is ended unrighteousness shall grow up,
And a law shall be made for the sinners.
( The flood,  )

5. And after that in the third week at its close
A man shall be elected as the plant of righteous judgement,
And his posterity shall become the plant of righteousness for evermore.
( the time of Abraham)

6. And after that in the fourth week, at its close,
Visions of the holy and righteous shall be seen,
And a law for all generations and an enclosure shall be made for them.
( the time of Moses and the Israelites)

7. And after that in the fifth week, at its close,
The house of glory and dominion shall be built for ever. p. 133
( Salomon builds the temple)

8. And after that in the sixth week all who live in it shall be blinded,
And the hearts of all of them shall godlessly forsake wisdom.
And in it a man shall ascend;
And at its close the house of dominion shall be burnt with fire,
And the whole race of the chosen root shall be dispersed.
( The time of the Lord and Irael is scatterd)

9. And after that in the seventh week shall an apostate generation arise,
And many shall be its deeds,
And all its deeds shall be apostate.

10. And at its close shall be elected
The elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness,
To receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation.
( our time ( the time of the chuch) before the coming of the Lord)[11. For who is there of all the children of men that is able to hear the voice of the Holy One without being troubled? And who can think His thoughts? and who is there that can behold all the works of heaven? 12. And how should there be one who could behold the heaven, and who is there that could understand the things of heaven and see a soul or a spirit and could tell thereof, or ascend and see all their ends and think them or do like them? 13. And who is there of all men that could know what is the breadth and the length of the earth, and to whom has been shown the measure of all of them? 14. Or is there any one who could discern the length of the heaven and how great is its height, and upon what it is founded, and how great is the number of the stars, and where all the luminaries rest?]

XCI. 12.-17. The Last Three Weeks.

CHAPTER XCI.

12. And after that there shall be another, the eighth week, that of righteousness,
And a sword shall be given to it that a righteous judgement may be executed on the oppressors,
And sinners shall be delivered into the hands of the righteous. p. 134
( The greath Tribulation, the 1000 year peace Kingdom. The reign of the Lord)

13 And at its close they shall acquire houses through their righteousness,
And a house shall be built for the Great King in glory for evermore,
(The new Jerusalem)

14d. And all mankind shall look to the path of uprightness.
14a. And after that, in the ninth week, the righteous judgement shall be revealed to the whole world,
b. And all the works of the godless shall vanish from all the earth,
c. And the world shall be written down for destruction.
(The last stand of satan and judgement day for mankind)

15. And after this, in the tenth week in the seventh part,
There shall be the great eternal judgement,
In which He will execute vengeance amongst the angels.
( Judgement day, Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! 2 Cor 6:3)

16. And the first heaven shall depart and pass away,
And a new heaven shall appear,
And all the powers of the heavens shall give sevenfold light.

17. And after that there will be many weeks without number for ever,
And all shall be in goodness and righteousness,
And sin shall no more be mentioned for ever.
( the new Heaven and the new Earth)

It is the anointing that breaks the yoke

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing"  (Isaiah 10:27).

Wow... we had an anointed church service today. The worship was awesome. I could swear we were joined by angels, because all voices sounded heavenly. This must have stirred up the anointing, or the anointing had made all voices sound more beautiful. What ever the situation is, it was a powerful service. I sensed the Lord doing restoration, healing and breaking work a few weeks now. Today during the worship I sensed that there was a presence that dripped down on the people. Like rain. It could also have been oil, because anointing is being done with oil. A member of the church went forward to tell the people what she sensed in the spirit. We as a gathering were entering the precence of God in Holy of Holies.

However, I felt like I had to release the words in the church, telling them the anointing that breaks all yokes was there and that the Lord was present to heal all who needed healing. Whether emotional or physical or however. If i did not do that I would be disobiedient and the people might miss what the Lord was doing.

I obeyed and released the words and contiued worshipping. At the end of the service people confirmed that they experienced something and some were prayed for. The anointing was still present.

 I now realise the importance of releasing the words we have on the inside of us, because "Faith cometh by hearing". The level of faith rises up to receive what the Lord is giving. Faith is spontaneously maturing and released.  People are healed, yokes are broken, and people touched by the presence of the Lord, even without them being personally ministered to.

I feel privileged to be used that way. The past week I kept hearing in my spirit the question, "how can the Lord use you?" Not knowing that He would use me today to release the anointing that breaks all yokes and heals people.

The Lord is awesome, and I feel very blessed. I did not even feel like going to church today. I decided to go after I heard in my spirit, "If you want to meet the Lord, where do you think the best place is to meet Him? Is it not where two or more are gathered in His name."

So I went anyway, and this is the result.

Disobedience would have meant that people would have missed out. Praise God that He knows all things and included me in His work today......
